Use the guidance for your actual wallet. These explanations are starting points, not instructions to change a live setup.
Recovery words can restore a compatible wallet. The format and any other recovery requirements depend on the wallet. They are secret material, not a password you should enter into this website.
Some wallets support a separate passphrase that changes which wallet is accessed. It is different from a device PIN. If used, the exact passphrase may be required alongside the backup to regain access.
A supported scheme such as SLIP39 uses recovery shares and a threshold needed to restore the wallet. It is not the same as manually cutting a recovery phrase into pieces. Compatibility and the required shares matter.

Where we can help
Identify the accounts, devices, custody arrangements and people you rely on. Keep this overview separate from passwords and recovery secrets.
Build a disaster-recovery document covering a lost device, unavailable custodian or unexpected absence, with the order of actions and responsibilities clearly recorded.
Agree a safe review and rehearsal process. Revisit the plan after a move, new device or change in custody; never test recovery by exposing keys or risking the only copy.
For banking involving digital assets, we can frame the provenance and provider questions separately. This does not imply an available crypto-friendly bank, trading service or custody product.
Choose the right scope of workStart with the accounts, devices and custody arrangements that matter most. Work out how they connect, who can access them and what would happen if one part failed.
The useful setup is the one you understand and can maintain. We work through authentication, access, custody choices and recovery procedures in a way that fits your everyday life.
A lost device, a locked account or an unexpected absence should have a response. Document the process and the responsibilities without putting sensitive recovery material into ordinary shared files.
Connect your accounts, devices, documents and recovery arrangements in one private plan.
