COMMONWEALTHLet’s talk

A few things worth knowing

Straight questions.
Clear answers.

How the consultancy works, where introductions help and what happens before you commit.

01

Companies & banking

Can you help me live and operate in Bali?

Yes. Indonesia support includes company setup, personal and business banking preparation, visa-provider coordination, invoicing questions and ownership-rights briefs for qualified local specialists. We connect the practical work with your lifestyle and intended activities.

Do I need a PT PMA or an investor visa for Bali?

That depends on the activity and your circumstances. A company, an investor visa and the right to work are separate questions. We assess the business purpose and available residence routes before recommending a structure. The Bali guide explains the main options.

Where can you help set up a company?

Our current scope covers Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Cyprus, the UK, BVI and Cayman. We also scope US LLC enquiries, with the US formation partner still to be confirmed. Local providers, permissions and costs are confirmed for each engagement.

Can you guarantee a bank account?

No. We can help prepare a clear application and introduce relevant contacts, including existing relationships at UBS, HSBC and Emirates NBD. Each institution makes its own eligibility, due-diligence and acceptance decisions.

Does an overseas company change where I pay tax?

That needs an assessment of your circumstances by qualified tax advisers. A company registration alone is not a conclusion about your personal or corporate tax obligations. We help organise the facts and bring the relevant advisers into the discussion.

02

Working together

Can you introduce a lawyer in another country?

Yes. Legal introduction enquiries currently cover Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, the UK and the US. Tell us the issue and location. The right lawyer, qualifications, availability and conflict checks are confirmed for your matter, with legal advice under a separate professional engagement.

What does Commonwealth X actually do?

Commonwealth X helps businesses, individuals and families organise their affairs across borders. Plan it, set it up and keep it working: from company setup and banking to residence, digital security and specialist introductions. The aim is practical sovereignty: more choice and control, with clear responsibilities. We agree our scope and fees; qualified professionals provide any regulated advice under their own engagement.

Can you stay involved after the company is set up?

Yes. Ongoing coordination can be included in the agreed scope, from provider handovers and renewals to questions that arise as the business changes. Each engagement sets out what Commonwealth X handles and what remains with your accountant, lawyer or other provider.

How much does it cost?

Private work is quoted after an initial conversation. You receive an agreed scope, consultancy fee and any known third-party costs before work starts. There is no membership or course purchase required.

Is this only for British clients?

No. Commonwealth X works with an international audience. Some inherited Atlas research uses a UK-citizen reference profile, which is labelled in the tool; your own nationality, residence and circumstances need a separate assessment.

03

Passports & wealth

Can you help me explore a second passport?

Yes. We help clarify your objectives and organise an initial route review covering ancestry, residence or investment options where relevant. Immigration advice and applications need the appropriate qualified or authorised provider. Passport delivery partners are still being selected; no approval, price or timetable is guaranteed.

Are residence and citizenship the same thing?

No. Permission to live in a country and citizenship are different legal statuses. We help you define the outcome you need before a qualified specialist checks eligibility and the route available to you.

How do wealth-adviser introductions work?

We start with your goals, location and existing arrangements, then identify a relevant introduction. NEBA Wealth is one existing contact. The proposed provider must confirm its ability to serve you and explain its scope and fees. We agree what information may be shared before an introduction; Commonwealth X does not manage investments or promise returns.

Do you receive referral fees?

Some introductions may involve a referral fee. Any applicable arrangement will be explained before you proceed, including who pays it and any effect on your costs. Referral terms with NEBA have not yet been agreed for this service.

04

Privacy & practicalities

Where do my documents and advice live?

An engagement includes an agreed private method for sharing documents, decisions and next steps. There is no public community you need to join. Do not put passport copies, account credentials, private keys or recovery phrases into a first enquiry.

Is there a community or an events programme?

Private networking and events may follow as the client network develops. There is no paid community or scheduled event programme to join at present.

Are the organisations listed formal Commonwealth X partners?

The directory identifies existing personal contacts and provider routes, alongside specialists still to be selected. Listing an organisation is not a claim of endorsement, exclusivity or a formal partnership agreement.

Your situation may be different.

A website can explain the service. A conversation is where we make it relevant to you.
